E-book Directory Submitter
I need a simple program that includes an active web browser window and matches data from user filled-in form fields with the form fields it finds on the web pages that it navigates to. This program must be a stand-alone desktop application that will work on any modern windows PC.
The purpose of the software is to submit data to 18 ebook directories that I have identified. The user will first fill out his submission details in the software form fields which will save the data. These are the fields:
Title / ebook name
ebook download URL
email address
author name
format
description (text area)
keywords
street address
city
state
zip
country
pages
file size
release date
suggest category
I have a list of 16 URLs for sites that accept ebook submissions via online web form. These URLS’s need to be included on a list in the software like a bookmarks list on a web browser. The user will navigate to them one by one. Some of the URLs go directly to the submission form while others lead to a page where the user must first enter information or navigate to a category before the submission form appears.
Once the submission form appears the software needs to make an intelligent match of the saved form data with the form fields on the submission form and fill those in. (It is expected of course that at a few of the sites a couple of the fields might not match correctly and have to be manually edited.)
I also have two email addresses that I want included in the software for two additional directories that only accept submission by email. They should be email links or buttons that when clicked open the default email program on the PC and prefill the subject line with ‘New Ebook Submission’ and in the body of the email paste in all the saved form data so the user can just send the email.
