Cookies Needed 03.09.08
Good Day.
We have a website that we use CGI – perl scripts on.
Our scripts work great. However I want to have two fields auto filed by way of creating a cookie that will remain on the visitor’s computer.
So the process will go like this…
On the first page of our website we will ask the visitor for the following:
What is your First Name?
_______________
What e-mail address do you want us to send your reports to?
_____________________________
Once they fill out these two fields, they will be taken to the next page on our site with the full form for them to complete, however their first name and email address will be AUTO filled into any FORM page they visit on our site. Even if they come back 30 days later, when they get to a page with a form or a Hello _______, the information on their cookie will auto complete the form fields or the greetings page information.
