I purchased this software, and it crashes a LOT. I need something much more stable with a few more features. Here are the main things I need in this program:
1st - I want to be able to categorize my favorite forums… So I can create categories, and then save different forums into each category.
2nd - I also want to be able to create blog categories, and so I can watch blogs.
3rd - (this is where the other software crashes…) After we have the blog and forum categories, we need it to be able to “watch” the forum posts and blog posts.
When someone watches a forum or blog post, the software needs to give notifications when someone responds to the forum thread, or when there is another comment on that blog post.
The point of the software is so you can watch every forum or blog that you post on, and know when new comments or posts are made.
So one of the BIG problems their software doesn’t track all types of forums, and often wouldn’t update.. so it would need to be tested on multiple types of blogs and forums.
These are the most important features of the software. GUI is very important to me, so I want to see samples of other software programs you have done in the past.
Please also let me know what language you’d program this in, and potential problems you see.
