Python/django Site 24.07.08
What I need done:
A django powered site with multiple apps built for it, using open source apps is ok as long as you fully know how they work and can customize them.
Current project’s apps include user signup with tos (email confirmation required), user profiles, user settings, user friends.
What I already have versus what the provider will build:
All I have is detailed ideas for this project, basic layout design, and a few logos. Provider will build a project containing 3 simple apps and a simple interface using my designed theme. This is more or less a test to find a programmer worth sticking with.
Specific expertise that I am seeking:
Up-to-date with what’s going on with django, python, and “web 2.0 sites”. To be able to write well documentated code that is easy to manage and modify. The site and site’s apps should be designed to be modular. Should be familiar with django’s signals and dispatcher.
Timeframe for delivery:
I need this done as soon as possible. The quicker the better. You may be invited to another project when after completion of this project.
