Simple Mysql Project 24.08.08
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING - IF YOU DO NOT READ, THEN DO NOT BID
I have a very large database with some duplicate records and I need someone to do the following:
1) Make a back up of the SQL and send it to me. The file will probably be very large so keep that in mind. If you have a bad internet connection, this is probably not the project for you.
2) Once the back up is sent to me, I need someone to do the following:
If there are are mutiple VenueNames in the same city, delete all the records and save only one.
Example:
VenueID = 98656
VenueName = Mcdonalds
VenueCity = New York
VenueID = 123
VenueName = Mcdonalds
VenueCity = New York
VenueID = 125654
VenueName = Mcdonalds
VenueCity = New York
I only need ONE of these entries saved for the VenueCity of New York
I don’t care which VenueID is saved, I just need the duplicate entries removed and only ONE of the entries saved.
You will need to let me know the exact number of entries that were removed.
