Web Site Structure -data Input 12.05.08
I am looking for a Web site to be designed where by a customer can securly sign up to a service pay through a web browser/paypal and input company details (again through a bew browser) that will go to make up a personal section of the web-site
Areas of data i need for them to input will be the following: company name - synopsis of company - picture gallery - entertainment lists (Updatable) - event lists (Updatable) - pictures etc. All these details will need to be updatable by the customer using a username and password so they can enter their section of the web-site to update.
To make a quick comparison the system could work a little like Myspace where pictures details and entertainment lists etc can be updated anytime. The only difference being i would want the customers section of the site to look and feel like a fully comprihensive mini-site with numerous pages i.e. the entertainment and events sections would be hyperlinked to new pages.
I have a limited budget despite this being quite a large project however i am egar to get this running and simply need to see quotes as to how much this may cost me.
See www.wots-on-where.co.uk to see what i have been working round so far. I do like this design but would possibly need a fresher look and a front page housing 3 buttons 1. “Click here to find out whats on in your local area”
2. “Do you want a web site for less than the cost of a pint a week Click here”
and 3. “Already have a site. Then add yourself to our directory to maximise your hits”
These buttone would make it easier to negoshiate the site as the site tries to do more than one thing i.e. be a directory to the public and 2. be a self designsite for small businesses i.e. pubs - clubs - bars - florists etc.
Thanks.
Matt
