We are looking for a few people who have very strong REGEX programming skills in the PERL environment, to help us build numerous REGEX templates. These REGEX templates will match various details from an HTML source and extract specific data like URL, Date, Time, Title, Description etc…
We have a test script and procedure in place already, and we are looking to build out our inventory of data. Our procedure gathers this data in a 3 step, 3 regex recursive pattern match perl script. We will provide you with a set of URLs to work with for this project.
You should be comfortable and knowledgeable with back references, repetition, assertions, and conditional sub-patterns. You should also be able to handle a large volume of work, be self directed, and self motivated.
We will provide 1 example (3 regexes) and require 1 test (3 regexes). This allows us to evaluate your skill level for pattern matching, and also shows you how our process works. You will be paid for any/all work you submit upon successfully completing the project.
