Affiliate Sw & Shop Cart 20.08.08
We are looking to have some help in adding an affiliate tracking software to our website that will work with a shopping cart that we can install for free from services on our server and use our payment gateway Linkpoint and Pay Pal. We want to have our current system fine tuned.
I will explain how it works CURRENTLY.
1. Buyers fill out an order form for us to capture information that we need and have them agree to terms and conditions and that is sent to us by form mail. http://freewebsitecenter.com/order_cc.html
2. The buyer is then directed to a page to order their website http://freewebsitecenter.com/order_shopcart.html Once on this page, they have an option of ordering ONLY one website for one fee and another option to prepay for hosting for one year and get a discount.
3. Once they select an order button, the html in the page will forward the information to the Linkpoint secure server to complete the order.
4. The buyer is then redirected to a thank you page.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO HAPPEN IS:
0. Have an affiliate tracking software in place to track sales and pay commissions.
1. Have a product page offering all our website products
2. The ability to add more than one website to a shopping cart
3. The options to select various costs for the website. One time fee or a year prepaid.
4. Have the buyer complete just one form that will have all the info necessary to complete the order with Linkpoint and collect additional information such as social security number and 3 domain name choice for the website
5. Have the information sent back to us to fulfill the order.
6. Notify the affiliate of a sale.
7. Send the buyer to a specified thank you page for the product they ordered. Example: If they order a dating site, the thank you can include information about dating sites. If they order a casino site, the thank you can include information about casinos. (IS THAT POSSIBLE? OR DEPENDS ON THE GATEWAY?)
We have done much research on this, however, are seeking someone experienced with setting up an affiliate tracking software and interface with a compatible shopping cart to handle these functions instead of learning it ourselves.
Once again, we do not need to buy the shopping cart software, however may need to buy the affiliate software unless you already have one for us to use.
Any suggestions for affiliate software will be welcome as long as it can be integrated into the shopping cart using PayPal and Linkpoint as our payment gateways
