This site is for a company which proposes hotel reservation, auto rental and other travel-relative services to tourists visiting Togo, a country in West Africa.
We will need an online reservation systems from which visitors can browse through available hotels and make a reservation, which will be sent by email to us. At the backend, the admin should be able to add hotels, modify settings, add, modify or delete selection criteria (such as location, number of stars etc.). Other than hotels the same system needs to be used to reserve house for short-term stays. Criteria between hotels and houses may differ but we want to administer this from the same login.
From the system we want also to be able to setup mini-pages for hotels and the houses which meta tags can be customized. From the mini-sites the visitors who might arrive from Google or other sources can select to make a reservation and they will be taken to the shopping cart.
The other pages are basically static without database functions. However if a CMS is used for this site it would be great to be able to modify web pages from the admin login without the need to modify the code.
SEO-friendliness is crucial and we don’t want strings or numbers in the urls.
We need a clean and professional site with a logo based on the site name (which will be provided in the message board) and an attractive top banner which should relate to Africa (sea, nature etc.).
