Application For Remote Server 28.01.08
I need an application that allows me to let my students to use only specified programs on a windows server.
I can choose the applications allowed to be run by the student, allow or not copy/paste, up/downloading, surfing, etc…
Each user can log on the server and see the full desktop but he must have a different login/password that allows him to run only the applications that I want.
The application must contemplate multiuser access and login/psw generator and users management feature. (i.e. block all users, reset pswds, etc.)In the future also support multilanguage.
One possible solution is having three different programs:
1) Administrator Manager that setup user/psw, applications and actions allowed, and store it in a .dll
2) Server application that runs on the Server and that receive the updated *.dll
3) Client application used only by students, they insert their login details see the desktop but can use only the applications I allow them. (i.e. i can allow them tho use MSWord but not to surf or download tests,…)
Needs user friendly interface and compatibility from 98 to Vista.
