Auto Trader Clone 30.06.08
We require a direct clone of autotrader.com which will enable us to run an online auto listing website.
The site must be designed in Php and Sql and produce semantic HMTL code for us to work on the front end function.
We would expect full 100% access to the code so we can edit it in the future. The backend function will be the most important and allow a ‘mass’ upload feature, e.g a CSV upload feature for car owners who have over 500 cars.
There are two types of sellers, Individual car owners who can advertise for free. And garage owners who have a large database of cars. Garage owners will be able to upload their logo which will appear on their profile page and next to each car they sell. This will be free at first but we expect to charge in the future. Do not include the payment module into the proposal, The site should have the modular ability to add payments at a later date.
We expect to place banner advers on the website so a facility that allows us to change these banners would be built in. We will have different adverts on the homepage, different ones on the car details page, search results page etc.
A postcode/zip search facility will be crucial for the site, Similar to autotrader.com and we would use a similar model to the way the ‘basic search’ and ‘advanced search’ works.
Please PM me details of work you have done similar to this in the past. The mass upload feature is crucial to this working and I would need to see examples.
