Back Order&wishlistoscommerce 12.03.08
Hello,
I am needing a backorder system and Wishlist For OSC2.2 version. The following are the points to be completed.
1. When item quantity reaches zero, currently I have the site saying Item Out Of Stock. This needs to change to show Backorder Button. Will have to modify current script to change from out of stock to show back order button.
2. If back order items is ordered and placed in the shopping cart, pop up showing the notice that the product is in Back order to reconfirm with the yes button to accept to wait for the goods to arrive in maximum 10 days ( duration time can be changed from 10 days to 21 days or so… Payment can be made at that time to confirm the back order and shipment as soon as the goods arrive or pay when the goods are in stock and should be added in wish list.
3. Back ordered items and wish list for customers must be stored in database in separate table, and customer is able to view back orders and wish list from account history or back order/wish list panel in their account.
4. As soon as inventory arrives, an email is sent to customer notifying them that some or all of the items are available for shipping. To purchase back order items, they just need to go through checkout. Also if customer is ordering other products, system needs to notify them back order items are available to add to cart. Customer can accept back order items at that time, or keep for next order.
5. Important, back order items are only held for 7 days, and if not accepted by customer, items are returned into stock.
6. Customer has the capability to cancel back orders through the account history or back order panel.
7. Site admin has the ability in configuration to set the amount of days back order items are held, above shows 7 days, but this needs to be set by admin. Also admin needs the ability to cancel a customers back order.
8. Wishlist is common for all members. The system should send an automated email to every customer saying that the product is getting out of stock soon. email to be sent when stock level goes less then 2 piece.
9. notification of items in wishlist when gets in stock again should be sent to the customer.

Important Note, I can send you a copy of the site and current database. It will need to be set on your local server, for you development. I can not allow server access, security reason.
Will also need a step by step install manual for contribution, so I can install manually on other sites I own.
