Clip Share Script Modification 26.03.08
Clip Share script modifications.
(preferably someone who has a working knowledge or experience with the clip share script.)
There are two parts to modifying the Clip Share script that we are needing.
1. Adding ads for each video
We need admin functionality for submitting ads for each video.
»Admin« will consist of the video player, playing the video, a text area field to enter the ad and a submit button.
Upon clicking submit the ad text will be saved in »videos« Clip Share database in table »video« inside »ad_text« field along with the admin name inside »ad_text_writer« field.
A link, called »Edit Ad«, linking to »Ad Submit Page«, will show next to each video thumbnail when a cookie has been set on the copywriters computer (preventing other public users from seeing the link).
If no ad has been entered for a video yet, then every copywriter will be able to see the »Edit Ad« link. If a certain copywriter already saved an ad for a video, then no one else but that copywriter will be able to see the »Edit Ad« link for that video.
2. Xmoov player insertion
We will be using the Xmoov.com player instead of default Clip Share player. You will have to replace that default player with the Xmoov player. If you are not familiar with Xmoov player, we will provide all documentation needed.
