We are looking for a web developer/designer to work on our “Event Listing” website which will enable users to discover, promote, share and create events. CLONE: http://eventful.com/ (with less functionality)
THE HOMEPAGE
- Menus (home, events, venues, photos, videos, blog, contact)
-login/join
-search
The home page must be catchy
- with a frontpage slide show with at least 5 featured events
-slide show can be found at http://www.frontpageslideshow.net/
- AJAX tabs and slides for (TOP events, Upcoming Events, Recently Added)
I will talk more about the home page once project is awarded or I will post more info.
The photo link will list all the pictures taken from the events. So users will be able to email
pictures to friends. (Lightbox photo gallery suggested.)
- Videos: various videos from different event.
-When seeing an event for a venue, the right sidebar should also display events for the same
venue (at least 5)
-Blog: we already have the blog for the site.
-Must be log in to add/edit events and leave comments
***This project doesn’t have to build from scratch - This is a low budget project and you may use
a PHP template then customize it.
_ we require a strong PHP, CSS and Ajax skill.
-Front page and Admin area must be well design. Main layout must be tableless - tables can be
used only for some listings.
