Events Website 04.07.08
We are planning to start off with an Events Website which would list different types of events taking place in various cities of India. Here are requirements of the site:
1. Events Category:
Primary: Kind of Event like Musical Shows, Fashion Shows, College Reunions etc
Secondary: Citywise
2. Event’s List:
The visitors should be able to view events list based on category
3. Events Calendar:
The calender should be able to display events based on primary and / or secondary events, along with differentiation between featured and normal listing
4. Events Details:
Various details like Events Description, Date and Venue, Contact Details etc
5. Booking:
The visitors should be able to book & print passes online. This would also require payment gateway integration.
6. Google Map Integration
Google map to let the user view the event venue
7. Banners
I would also like to have banners displayed on the home page and top level pages of each category on side panels of the site
8. Tell a Friend / Remind me later
9. Syndication (As server)
10. Logo Design
I also want a logo to be designed for the site

We would ideally like to have one CMS through which we can control both the event’s list and event’s calender, banners, featured events etc. Please suggest the technology on which the site should be based. Also, your bids should be accompanied with a proposal, which should include the technology, your proposed structure and module-wise price break up.
