Extract Business Listing Data 27.09.08
I need someone to collect/extract data GOOGLE Maps Business search engine for placement in an Excel template.
Information to be extracted is as follows:
Company Name/ Listing name
Address Line 1
Address Line 2
City
State
Zip Code
Phone
Fax
Email
WWW (website if any)
Steps to be followed:
1. Gather listings from GOOGLE Maps Business search engine.
2. Check if data extracted is valid (by cross checking).
3. Remove duplicate entries.
4. Submit file in provided excel template
I have provided a list of the categories and links to the first page of the results of the needed listings. One issue I have found with Google is if a category contains 2,800 listings it will only let you see 990 of the listings, hopefully you can find a way to fix this!
While this could be done Data Entry I feel a script could be written to extract this data quite easily.
List of needed categories and expected number of leads to be found in each excel file. Each category should have it’s own Excel template file.
