Female Model Website In Joomla 15.06.08

For this job im choosing to use joomla. I am going to be building ALOT of models websites soon so i need to staff up. I have chosen joomla because it seems to be pretty easy for the models to go into the backend and change and update their own content. ( i am open to suggestions of a CMS other than joomla but im pretty sure ill go with joomla ) I would like to hear suggestions on which extentions are the best to use with this project The first model’s website is pretty simple:

Store ( probably going to use Virtuemart but open to suggestions )
Photo gallery im thinking RS Gallery2 since it seems to be the easiest one to upload to. ( i have used Gallery2 in the past but it just seems too robust for simple uploading of a few images )
The rest of the pages are just merely layout and filling on custom pages in joomla no other real big functionality here.
Layout: The layout needs to be very picture heavy, The latest images are going to be automatically shown on the front page, so consideration on thumbnail sizes and how to handle landscape and portrait images to fill up a layout.
SEO i will install an SEO plugin for joomla give me ideas if you have any for this. Also give me other ideas to what might make the models website more appealing. Later on it MIGHT turn into a members paid site.. so let me know if joomla 1.5 as security enough against hackers for this to not be an issue. Im a bit new to joomla 1.5 but i learn things quickly… i have alot of clients im picking up so instead of coding and designing myself i need to start farming the work out to TRUSTWORTHY people that can get things done in a timely manner… the more i can count on you the more work i can get in.. P.S. im not only looking to do this one project im looking to build a good reliable team to work with because im getting to the point of picking up ALOT of new clients…
