Improvements To Site’s Backend  01.04.08

I needs some improvements made to the backend of my website in the admin panel. I recently purchased this site, and there are some useless features and broken features in the backend. I think the whole thing is currently programmed in PHP, and I’d prefer to keep it that way. Here are the things I want improved:

1. There is a function in my admin panel that is supposed to write all email addresses in the membership database to an .rtf file for exporting. This function apparently does not work, and I would like it fixed.

2. There is a newsletter function that’s labeled “email broadcast”, that is pretty useless. Right now it’s setup in a way that each individual member’s email address has to be clicked to add it to the email form. This is far too time consuming, and additionally, it doesn’t leave out unsubscribed members. I would like this replaced with a newsletter feature that I can actually use. When members sign up for my site, they choose to subscribe or not to subscribe from the newsletter. I want the newsletter to be automatically sent to all subscribed members, so that I do not have to manually add them to the email form. Obviously, it should absolutely not go to the unsubscribed members.

*NOTE* - There are actually 2 admin panels on my site, because there are 2 different methods on my site (which act almost like 2 separate sites). I want to be able to choose whether the email is sent to the members in the first admin panel, or the members in the second admin panel, or both.

3. I want a search feature built into the list of members (in both admin panels) that will allow me to type in an email address, an i.p. address, or their assigned user i.d., and it will show any matching results. This way I no longer have to look through 80+ pages of members to find just 1 member when someone wants to cancel or unsubscribe to the newsletter.

4. I want a feature built in that somehow alerts me when more than 1 person has signed up from the same i.p. address. I am tired of doing this manually too. I do not want it to automatically delete the member. I simply want it to let me know, so that I may look into the matter.

5. As mentioned above, there are actually 2 admin panels on the site. In the members list in the second admin panel, there is no feature that allows members to be unsubscribed from the newsletter. I would like one added.
