Integrate App With Acajoom 05.11.08
I’d like to work with a good PHP programmer who is familiar with Joomla and Acajoom and can work quickly and immediately on our project.
The scope of this project will be to modify the code of our existing custom-built Joomla extension so that it will integrate with Acajoom. The custom-built Joomla extension is a small module that manages online registration for courses or events.
I want to modify the course management extension so that every new course/even that is created will automatically create a new Acajoom mailing list that corresponds to the course/event. The new Acajoom mailing list will have the same title and description as the newly created course/event.
The following modifications to flow would be required:
1. When a course or event is created, automatically ask the administrator to link the course/even with an Acajoom mailing list and offer a list of existing Acajoom mailing list to browse and select from.
2. At this point, if the existing mailing lists are not suitable, the system will offer the administrator the option of creating a new Acajoom mailing list. If the administrator does so, this application will create a new Acajoom mailing list with the same title and description as the course title and description.
3. After a course has been linked to a mailing list, every registrant who registers for a course will be automatically subscribed to the corresponding Acajoom list.
