Integrate Php Scripts + Mysql 31.03.08
This project will require someone very experienced in PHP/MySQL and preferably JAM (JRox Affiliate Program) and Boonex’s Dolphin Community Software.
The main platform of the site is Dolphin (a MySpace clone) and I will likely need modifications made to the script on an ongoing basis.
For this project, my goal is to integrate two fairly complex PHP scripts to work together yet have independent databases.
The site will offer a membership service with three levels. The first month membership will be slightly higher with monthly fees to follow. This has to be set up through PayPal but I believe JAM can handle this without requiring modifications to the script.
In addition, members can purchase other products and packages for advertising, how to guides and more. We will have a Selling Resources store for members where they can make additional purchases at any time.
What I need is to integrate the JAM/JRox Affiliate program into the website so that it does the following:
1. If possible, I’d like member sign up to include one page only or two at most and to make them both a member of the site AND an affiliate member with one username and password. If this is not possible, they can do it in two steps with 2 log ins as long as the referrers are credited properly.
2. When they sign up, the referrer will get the referral credit (affiliate commission) whether the referral comes via email, banner, text link, etc.
3. If possible, whenever someone buys something on the site (say, additional advertising, even if at a later date), the original referrer will get the affiliate commission for the sale.
In addition, I would also like to create the following:
If someone has a product or service and we advertise it throughout the site, I’d like to be able to set it so that person gets their % automatically placed to their account, plus the referrer will get their commission.
In other words, if someone offers a How To Guide and we give them 40% of the sale plus 10% to the person who advertises it on their page, I’d like it disbursed accordingly automatically. There will be multiple sellers and multiple referrers so it may get complex.
WHAT I NEED
I need someone experienced enough who can read this, understand the programming requirements for this job and execute it without on-the-job training. I will likely need someone on an ongoing basis to troubleshoot issues and make adjustments where needed, possibly recoding and modifying the scripts without crashing the site or the database.
Other project will likely develop in the near future and would like to continue working with one person, so the more diverse your skill sets are the better.
Lastly, I prefer someone with a strong grasp of the English language to avoid communication problems.
As for compensation…I am willing to pay accordingly given the complex nature of the job. What I need is for someone to tell me the work involved, specifically, what modifications will be required to get this to work. I prefer to pay a flat-rate for the project, rather than hourly. As most of us are, I’m on a budget but I’m more concerned with getting the site to work exactly as I want it than the cost involved. The max/min budget posted is my preferred range.
I do ask that you only bid if you are comfortable with the challenges outlined. I’m not looking for someone who is learning as they go along.
