Invoice View & Payment Tool 24.06.08
I am building a website for a swimming pool maintenance company. (They clean peoples swimming pools monthly).
They use quickbooks to do their accounting and generate invoices. They want to have a way for their customers to log on at their website and view their invoices and pay them. I am having a hard time finding a solution.
They use the pinkpoint payment gateway (Linkpoint API).
We need a system that will allow them to export a report, invoices, etc. from quickbooks. Upload them to the online invoice tool. The tool would then aler each customer that a new invoice is available online and invite them to log in and pay their bill.
Each customer will need their own login.
We need to automate the process as much as possible. I assume there will be an admin login with easy to follow functions to update invoices.
Then the system will email customers. Customers login and view invoice and complete transactions.
Then there needs to be a way for the admin to update their quickbooks to properly account for the transactions.
Some possible problems that we need to think of are: What if a customer has multiple invoices. For example, they are 3 months late on their payments. How will the system handle this?
Also, this is not recurring billing. Each persons invoice will notbe the same amount each month. It varies from month to month becuase services rendered are different each month.
And finally, it all has to work with the linkpoint payment gateway / api. The system should store all customer information except the credit card numbers. The customers will be required to enter the credit card info. each time.
