Javascript Photo Gallery  05.08.08

I need a javascript photo gallery created.

I have attached an image of a layout that I have created. I will send you the finished HTML and sample photos / thumbnails before you start the project. Each photograph is an independant image and the borders, buttons, text, etc are all seperate. The attached image is for your reference to understand the project.

There are 6 zones: Large Image, caption, quick buttons (beside description), thumbnails, thumbnail title and Previous / Next buttons. Photos are always named 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, 4.jpg, etc.

Functionality:

By Default:
The first image should be displayed in the Large Image container.
The next image should be automatically shown (slideshow) after 3 seconds.

When someone clicks on one of the thumbnails:
The large version of the image should be shown in the Large Image container.
The catpion for the image should be shown. I’m not sure about the best way to load this text. Currently it is stored in a mySQL database as well as in the meta information of each photograph. I could also phrase this into the ALT tags orsomething with php. I’m open to any ideas.

When someone clicks on the Previous or Next buttons:
There are always more than 6 photographs. When a button is pressed, the next 6 images should be loaded without a page refresh. Hopefully, some sort of nice looking (mootools or similar) scrolling effect can be implimented.
Again, the photo title will need to be loaded somehow and I’m open to ideas.

When either of the Quick Buttons is pressed:
The next or previous image should be loaded in the Large Image container.
If the Large Image itslef is clicked, the next image should be loaded (same as right Quick Button).
