Ldap/active Directory Sync 24.03.08
We have two applications: one of them is based on active directory, the other application has it’s own LDAP server. There is no way to merge the two LDAPs.
I need a sript that will take the user data from one LDAP Server to update the active directory. The attributes are different on both servers, therefore a table determines what attribute name will be mapped to what other attribute name.
If data changes, the record in the active directory will be updated.
If data for a user is unchanged, the active directory data will keep untouched.
Data that were inserted will get an additional attribute that shows where the data originated from.
This additional data will also be used to identify when data has to be deleted from the active directory (this is when the user originated from the script, but the user is not available within the new LDAP data any more).
This is a quite straightforward task for somebody who used LDAP/Active Directory in the past. Please only bid if you have this experience. Also please tell me what kind of project experience you have with active directory in the past.
The programming should be done in a scripting language like perl or csh. The script will be running on a unix server, not in windows.
We need the script quite urgent.
