I have a sports parody website that I would like to upgrade and be a bit more fan-friendly, a little more intuitive,
have people post and blog and be a more entertaining and fun site.
My current site just expired, but before I signed back up I wanted to see if I could hire a designer to lay out the
site and would work with me to design it.
Obviously you would be paid, however, I am not sure what the going rate would be. I am pretty good with maintaining
websites, but I don’t know how to design an entire site from scratch with what I have in mind.
The general layout would be something like huffingtonpost(dot)com/ where there will be featured writers, then people
can comment on the story, there will be images, people can become members, etc…the site would be about sports, from
gossip, to comedy, to real sports. Basically, something that is less stuffy than ESPN or Yahoo Sports and puts sports
back into the hands of the fans and isn’t run by some corporate entity.
If you have web designing skills and would be interested in speaking to me about this project I would be happy to listen.
Obviously, I am not rich, so I would need to know the general cost of setting this up.
