Mediawiki Non-editable Section 05.07.08
I’m looking for someone with MediaWiki experience to create an extension/hack etc to remove the ‘edit’ tag for certain sections of a MediaWiki page and remove the edit tab at the top of the screen. This would allow some sections to remain editable whilst other sections would be protected on the same page. Admistrators would need the ability to edit all sections - therefore any extension would only apply to regular level users.
The project is for a website where users add links, hints and tips below sections containing copyrighted text.
