Online Database 13.01.09
This is a very simple job for someone with the right skills. This Project is urgent and a programmer will be selected ASAP.
We are wanting our existing MS Access database (with over 2000 records and growing) put online as a database, this is not a website as such but a place where our staff can go online and edit a live database easily
This will be password protected and have one grand administrator who has the ability to add and remove login users.
We need to be able to add new fields/columns into the database at any time. The columns added will either be yes/no fields or text fields. Options to be able to make this unique fields if so desired
We need to be able to do queries on the database and have multiple users using and editing the database at one time.
We need to be able to upload new records to the database via a spreadsheet, this will automatically upload the new entries and provide us with a list of entries that already exist.
This needs the ability to search or sort by any field or multiple fields at one time.
Need the ability to be able to email the database or parts of it using plain text ot HTML, all emails sent will have a remove option in the email where the receiver can choose to opt out of future emails, if the receiver selects this the database will automatically be updated so that they will no longer receive correspondence from us, This can be done manually as well.
The database needs to be very simple to use/edit/search/query as many of our staff have little database knowledge.
