Parse Things From A String  07.09.08

Hi,

I am looking to have items parsed from a PHP String. I do not know what these elements are called but the usually start with an ‘&’ and end with a ‘;’

Some examples are

I want to remove all of these types of elements (not just the ones listed above). There seems to be thousands of different ones, but I want a script that will clean any that i come across.
