Php Search Script 12.10.08
We’re looking for a solid PHP programmer who has experience in writing advanced search scripts. We have a very large database (about 1 million + records) of text (about 1-5k each) that needs to be made fully search able.
We’re looking for some of the following features:
- Search by keyword
- Search by date range
- Search by user name/id
- Boolean search support
etc.
We’d like the engine developed in AJAX for quick search ability. So developers with JavaScript, specifically JQuery experience, are more likely to win this bid over others.
If we were to develop this in-house we could probably do it for about 2-3 hours, but we’re under the gun at the moment and need to out-source this.
It’s not a complicated project, you will be given a database structure and sample material to get going.
