Programmer Crawlers & Rss 24.07.08
We are looking for a programmer with experience in Python and/or Ruby and/or PHP to join our team to create crawlers, indexing and RSS aggregators and feed these into our Local Wiki.
Our aim is to create a single community site that is localised for your town with local news and businesses, groups, events and communities.
This is a regular gig for an experienced programmer who can work 3-5 days per week for 3-6 months. Please bid based on a monthly basis working 5 regular days.

Lots of experience with MYSQL and if possible experience in database design using Googles App Engine or Amazon SimpleDB.
All work must be checked into CVS daily with proper release and testing regime. It is a condition of bidding on this project that you assign all IP to our company.
