CREATION ON A NEW PRICE COMPARISON WEBSITE
Looking for a very skilled team, who HAVE done a Price Comparison website before. Who have a working model to view and check. We will NOT award this project to a programming team who have NO example of their similar work.
If you do not have an example of your existing price comparison site, you need to demonstrate that you understand how to create the system by creating a working model in which XML feeds can be imported and allocated to categories and brands and displayed.
IMPORT XML FEEDS
We have multiple XML feeds supplied to us by a number of suppliers - sometime each feed is a bit different - so we need an intelligent system - that can pull in their feed and parse the info into webpages that can be viewed and searched. The product brought on must tag to our product categories and brands, which can be done manually the first time - and then the feed must be automated after that.
The system must allow us to bring in as many XML feeds as we want and then import these products. Sometime similar products are brought in that need to be presented together. For example if we have 3 Playstations 3 being pulled in from 3 different merchants, we need an intelligent way to match these to present on the same page.
These feeds then need to update each night to update the prices only and then flag new products that were added and ask admin to match the brands and categories - as well as remove products that are no longer stocked by the merchant.
We need to import multiple XML feeds on a daily basis - and the site has around 3 millions products - which need to be tagged quickly and easily to similar products - when when a user view a product page - they can see many prices for the same product from various suppliers.
The system needs to add and remove products from the lie site - based on the retailers XML feed. If you have done a price comparison website before you will know many of these features already. DO NOT think a price comparison website is easy - its a difficult project - so do not quote on this unless you already have knowledge.
MOBILE VERSION

SEO
Obviously we need strong SEO and the site must have searcj engine friendly URLS (mod rewritten etc) and be very, very search engine friendly.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
We will also require a merchant area, where merchants can also administer their products in their feeds - such as turn off products. Merchants will pay for their pay-per- click and in the back end - they will be able see stats on their products views and so on.

We are looking for a design and programming team that can also design - that can look at a website and see badly designed pages - our website must be very fast and very slick - built in PHP with clean, strong XHTML and CSS. It must be fast. We will not accept badly constructed websites. Your strong portfolio of examples will help you win this project.

Do you have the ability to create a perfect price comparison website? Have you done one before and have the skills and know-how - or do you know a programming team that has done one - then let them know that I do need them on this project. I do not mind using an existing script - as long as it is a proven script and can work perfectly. We are also wanting innovation.
