Replace Website Text Editor 07.03.08
I have a text editor in my control panel that allows me to upload the same document to all of my web sites at the same time. I can click on preview to preview the document and then click submit to upload the document after it has been previewed and I need to keep this function. There are often 3 pictures in the document and most of the documents are saved as word documents.
I want to replace my current text editor because of the following problems.
1. It is too narrow in size and does not provide me a full view of the document and text that I am placing in the editor, therefore I want to enlarge size of the editor in the control panel.
2. It does not pick up hyperlinks
3. The text editor does not support all operatinig systems. Once a document is uploaded from the text editor, the uploaded document appears differently on different computer systems. On a Mac the text appears grossly enlarged and on some PC’s the text appears grossly enlarged. I currently use the text editor with my PC.
4. It does not offer many options for changing the fonts and the size of the font. I cannot change the color of the font as that fuction does not work because I hear a pop up sound when I try to use it.
5. Sometimes after the document is previewed, the text in the editor and in the preview disappears.
I am just looking for a user friendly text editor that is also user friendly for uploading pictures. I don’t want to have to save a picture as a http file or have to save it to a server before uploading it. I want a more user friendly way of inserting a picture, perhaps through insert image or pasting the picture into the text editor. The picture insertion function is very important because each document typically has a picture.
