Restoring A Hacked Site 13.05.08
1) Need to restore a site that was hacked this morning. Some hackers messed up the site content and posted some nasty stuff that is presently at the bottom of the main page. (See ww.dictatorshipwatch.com)
2) Need to remove the membership and members’ log in system.
3) Need to remove the comments section as well for the sake of safety from future attacks.
We have backup files that will help restore the site’s modules etc. Hopefully the data files would be safe and could be restored from the latest back-up.
other suggestions are welcome to make the site hacked proof.
Furthermore, the site is pnadodb
it has similarities with postnuke and phpnuke since it was derived from postnuke.
