Road Condition Website 25.05.08
The site is for road condition updating based on member content. Users will post updates on road conditions, these updates will change the information on the front page road map.
The ‘interactive’ map would be the hard part, but I am sure there is some way to make it easier. Basically on the road map the updated information should be displayed as colors along the road in question, like if someone enters that I-80 between MM 100 and 120 in NE is backed up due to an accident I want there to be a little accident icon and the road where it occurs to be hightlighted red on th emap. When a user clicks the icon it should go to the entry on why the road is colored.
We also need a user system with levels, and restrictions on image posts, map showing up post, and so on based on the level. The levels should be changable by admin and automatically. The admin should be able to turn on and off auto level by member, and membersm should automatically be auto level when they first sign on.
Users should be able to post road condition updates, the updates should be browse able by state, county, city, and road. They should be searchable by Mile Marker, State, County, City, and Road.
I can work on front end, I need someone to do the actual scripting for php mysql.
