Set Up Basic Referral Tracking  18.05.08

I need a basic referral tracking ability, so I can set up a referral link and track hits that come from a promotion. dont need affiliate tracking right now, i am not sure it this requires a script, but if so, would this:

free script on hotscripts work? I would really like to get this done right away, I’ll be around for a while, i hope we can start right away.
