Simple Database Driven Website-
I sell widgets to 5 distributors.
I need a website that will allow the distributors to easily:
-Log into their portion of the website with a username/password
-Establish customer information (name, address, phone, contact person) (Up to 200 customers per distributor)
- Record customer deliveries and sales on a weekly basis (week1 delivered-week1 sold) (week 2 delivered- week2 sold)
-Add and remove customers as necessary
-View basic ratios (number of widgets dropped vs. widgets sold)(total widgets sold, etc)
- Easily print out these customer lists on a weekly basis showing the last 3 weeks’ activity.
As an administrator:
I’d like to have a “big picture” view of the numbers.
-Total Delivered by week.
-Total Sold by week.
-Total Sold by Zip code.
-Total Sold by Distributor.
-Efficiency of Distributor (Delivered vs. Sold)
-I need to be able to add/remove distributors. (Up to 25)
-Ideally (but not necessary) these customer addresses could be fed into a Google map showing our customer locations.
-Ideally (but not necessary) You could build in a bar graph that tracks weekly sales, pie chart showing sales by distributor, by Zip code, etc)
Overall:
A simple, easy to use, bug free, solution to a very simple issue. We currently use Excel to track these numbers, and it’s becoming unweildy.
This website doesn’t have to look fancy, it just needs to be stable, reliable, user friendly, printer friendly and and keep track of all the customers and their sales.
