Sports Club Results Site 28.09.08
Hi,
First off, this project is for a charity, so there is a very small personal budget to go into this.
It would probably be suited to a student wanting some portfolio work, so please be warned, if you are quoting $100’s I will not be able to accept.
The work needs doing is to build onto a PHP based system I have already written, it basically takes XML info of swimming gala times, inputs it into a MySQL database, and displays the results on the club website.
The work I need to finish this off is to convert the times of non-standard pool sizes into standard equivalent times for 50 metre pools, and display this in the same results online.
Documentation on the conversion process and calculations can be provided.
The reason I need somebody to finish this is due to lack of time to complete it.
May I stress again that this has to come out of my own pocket so if any students that are fluent in PHP would like some beer money, please feel free to approach me.
