System Admin Help 15.02.08
We hired a guy as a remote System Admin for few hrs per month. Unfortunately, he’s having some medical problems that prevents him from working. We were paying him $15-$20 for doing 2-3hrs worth of work work. So, if this budget is low for you, DO NOT BID.
We need an experienced and reliable System Admin who can monitor our server every month for few hours. In the first Month, you’ll probably do about 4hrs work because you’ll need to get familar with the server. After that, you’ll probebly spent only 30min to 3hrs per month to make sure everything is working fine. Our server is already setup and security features has already been installed and updated. There are currently 3 active sites on the server and they are all running fine. You’ll still get paid each month whether you fix something or not. We need someone reliable and you must be available to chat with us and resolve server issues in case of emergency.
Your PRIMARY JOB WILL BE MAKING SURE OUR 4 SITES ARE ALWAYS UP. Besides that, you will be expected to monitor/update/fix issues related to the following general if there is a need for it (30min-3hrs per month):
1. Make sure the sites are always up
2. SMTP, IMAP, POP, and Email Relayer issues
3. Security Issue (hackers prevention)
4. MySQL daily Databases backup
5. Make sure memory/rams is not being used up uselessly.
6. Apache-Addons, CPanel update, and Management
