Three Landing Page Examples 27.06.08
I need three examples of web site landing pages which capture and save data to a local database (SQL Server or MS Access) hosted at GoDaddy.
#1) An .ASPX landing page where the user fills in various address and contact info, then the submit button saves all the data to a local table. Integrity checks for valid phone number, valid email, state, driver’s license. Capture customer’s IP address.
#2) Same as above but initially import customer information via querie string. Some incoming data stays hidden while being captured. I need to provide a URL + querie string spec to marketing people.
#3) Simple .PHP pape which captures replies from emails and automatically stores the answers. (An ID number and a few values.) I need to know exactly what to embed in an email message so customer can reply back to us.
I have ODBC visibility to these web server database tables, which is big advantage to me. You can use any tools you are most comfortable with to develop the landing pages. I want to use MS Expression Web.
This is all standard stuff if you have done it before. Very quick project. I have rough .ASPX and a .PHP samples which are not completely working. Nothing exotic.
