Videographer Website 27.05.08
I am developing a website and am looking for some help programming it as I do not have the technical knowledge to pull it off. basically here is what i am looking to do:
MEMBER PROFILES
- each user inputs all of their contact info for ordering products from capturescape as selecting their media profession(such as director, musician, actor, lighting, scriptwriter, or none). Some users will want to be both videographer and musician so would need capability to select up to two professions and sell both music and video from their profile pages.
- users will use this ID to order things from .com/ .org websites or to sell their own productions as a freelancer (either music or video) through .net. A percentage from these sales would go to me and the other directly to the seller once the buyer purchases the item.
- When a person becomes a member they do have automatic access to the following:
-Shopping Cart
- When a person becomes a member they do NOT have automatic access to the following:
-Resource Database
-.net Seller Profiles

-videographers must pay a one time fee to join (also gain access to huge info database)- all other artists (i.e. musicians, actors, etc) can join the Network for free (dont gain access to info database)
-this will be a a media professionals networking database/store
-members without seller profiles can buy from these seller profiles
-freelance sellers can sell the following based on the particular media profession they have selected for their profile:
-Buy Premade Video Productions/ Stock Footage
-video services (ie. weddings, banquets, commercials, events, etc)
-royalty free music productions (pay 1 time fee for use in movie)
-Actor/ Actress services (contracted by directors/ producers)
-Lighting Technician services (contracted by directors/ producers)
-Buy Script Royalties for Production (one time fee- can be sold once only)
-these would all be sold via the users profiles
-these profiles will be custom formatted for different professions to display previews of video, music etc.
-users can customize their seller page information and upload media content previews
-seller pages are browseable by everyone
-in essence i will need a shopping cart for my website .com/ .org and one for these freelance sellers web profile pages on the .net extension. If possible would like it all to be the same cart.
-all sales generated from freelancers - a customizable percentage must go to my business
Im pretty sure this would take PHP programming and a few MySQL databases. I am looking for a programmer who can get this done efficiently, effectively and affordably. Please let me know if you can do this and what your quote would be for doing this. It would have to be able to integrated with my current web design which i have started designing. Let me know if you can do this.
