Website Redesign 15.05.08
I need a company to take an existing website and a new design that I am providing, and combine the functionality from the old site with the new design.
The site is a community calendar website, where people can log in, post events, make reservations for the events, pay for the events (paypal and credit card), and send newsletters. there are also a couple of APIs for users to post their calendar on their own website.
In addition to moving the functionality over, we will be adding in a few features, and improving the overall site.
The project includes the following tasks:
– build basic HTML/php pages with new design that I will provide
– move functional pieces from old site into new design
– build new voting system, similar to digg.com or comedy.com’s lol list (lots of ajax)
– build new RSS features
– analyze site and improve accessiblity, and improve loading time and database structure of possible.
– improve admin/backend section
– improve shopping cart functionality and security
– improve overall site security
Its important to note that the RSS feature and the voting system you will be building from scratch — they do not exist right now. everything else exists, and you will be improving it.
You must have experience in lots of ajax, to handle the voting system. and you must have experience in RSS feeds.
