Wordpress Expert Needed 27.02.09
I have a website where 2 versions of Wordpress are installed: 2.7.1 and 2.6.1 in different directories of course with different templates. I’m using the script from xml-sitemaps.com to get my urls indexed and to create the sitemap.xml. However none of my categories are getting indexed in the sitemap.xml, on both wordpress versions. The 2.6.1 version had been installed over 1 year ago and still the categories are not indexed by Google. All the posts are indexed almost instantly.
On the same server(VPS) I have 1 others Wordpress website with the same xml maps script and the categories are added to the sitemap.xml and indexed by Google.
I need someone to do an investigation and try to solve the problem.
