Wordpress Help 05.07.08
I am using Wordpress and a theme called, “Fakeblog, Overstand”. Please view my site, www.elgransuave.com, for reference. Here’s what I need to have done:
1.) Home page, under “Video”, “Articles”, and “Pictures” categories, I would like to have my most recent post or my last 2 posts, if possible, to display in full. Right now, it doesn’t display the videos on the main page or pictures. Just text. I would like to change that so you can read my latest posts with videos or pictures on the home page.
2.) The image/banner that is at the top that says, “El Gran Suave Laugh Your Balls Off”, I would like that to be clickable and have it take you to ALL my posts, instead of just a specific category.
3.) Under the column that says, “Latest and Greatest”, I would like to be able to continually place a favorite post of mine in that specific area and have the image or video that accompanies the post to appear where the guy jumping in the air with the baseball uniform is, if possible.
4.) When you click on “Videos”, “Pictures”, or “Articles”, categories near the top, it takes you to the specific category of those videos, right? It then shows all those relevant videos, pictures, or videos, depending upon what you want. You then have to click on the specific title to see the specific post. What I want is when you click on videos, pictures, or videos, that it will display the “Full” post(s) with the comment sections and everything.
For example, if you click “Videos”, then click “Paul Bearer”, it will then show you the Paul Bearer post. I want all the video posts to appear, full fledged as you would see it if you were to click on the Paul Bearer post, along with all the other posts in that specific category.
Another example, if you see at the bottom: Favorite Links. Click on it and you can see the post but none of the links are clickable. You then have to click on the title and then it brings you the full post. Frustrating!
Sorry for the long writeup, but I want to make sure you fully understand. I don’t think it should be that difficult if you have played around with Wordpress. Thanks.
