Wordpress Mu Customization 17.09.08
I need an experienced WordPress MU developer to modify the current version of MU so that each blog created under this installation has the following features:
Permalinks for all new blogs must be enabled with the custom structure /%post_id%/%postname%/
Blog admins must not be able to modify permalinks or even see the permalinks option
Posts per page should be 5
Use BalanceTags
Several more addresses must be added to the PING list
Install and activate AllInOneSEO. Also customize it using some settings I’ll provide to you
Install and activate wp-recaptcha
Force the use of my specified theme rather than default or classic
When a blog is deleted, it should be fully deleted and made available for others to use.
Install and activate Subscribe-To-Comments
Install, activate and configure Contact-Form-7
Limit it to 1 blog per user account, 1 user account per email address
Every new user is automatically inserted into my aweber account
Make the new blog signup process break into 2 separate steps:
o Step 1: Get username, email, subdomain, blog title (Remove search engine options, default to yes), make them check a box agreeing to my terms of service
o Step 2: Get email address of 3 friends and send invitation to them
Copy all of the posts, pages, categories and custom fields from a model blog which I’ll provide to you
There should be a sitewide sitemap that’s compatible with Google, Yahoo and any other major services
Include a training tab in the central admin panel where I can give away docs, teleseminar invites, etc
Can it read my twitter update and include that at the top of the admin panel? If not, can I have a feature like that built in?
(Please note - in every case where it’s possible, these changes should be accomplished through the use of hooks rather than direct code modification. Where code modification is necessary, I’ll need documentation about the changes.)
