Wp Rental Theme And Plugins 15.10.08
My current site is http://gatorpads.com - you’re going to do a wordpress version of it with more pizazz!
I basically need someone to create 2 plugins and a theme combination for a real estate RENTAL site. Goal is to extract the CMS
capabilities of Wordpress.
Plugins and theme will be WHITE LABEL and only I will have rights to it upon completion, however you will get full credit(link back) and will probably have option to stay on for support.
I will create a PSD design which you will hand code into a wordpress: CSS WIDGET FRIENDLY, theme (no slicing - the PSD is just to give you my vision), and you will create plugins for the following functions:
Plugin 1 (Main Plugin)
Basic concept: create listings, add custom fields, integrate maps,
wordpress gallery, skype presence, AIM presence). This will be all under the wordpress admin panel titled something like
“Rentals/Real estate Manager”
1. Creating a rental listing (with typical rental information, checkbox fields, etc)
2. Ability to add new fields
3. Wordpress Gallery implementation (Wordpress 2.5+ has a new gallery display feature)
4. google maps integration (both automatic map creation of property location AND map showing location of all properties with pop up windows and basic info about property)
5. Search function including multi-tag searches to display certain listings (posts) - should be sortable by listing date or particular tag element
6. Featured listings (premium placement - widget in sidebar)
7. New listings sidebar widget (to display latest listings on front page)
8. Rotating Header Photo which shows photos of available properties - pulls from uploaded listing photos.
9. User friendly admin panel for individuals who submit their properties to the site - Should NOT look like a normal wordpress admin panel - will require CSS redesign for admin panel.
10. Comment form that CAN ALSO BE a private email form.
11. Should accomodate MULTIPLE authors - think of each author as a seperate real estate agent - each agent has a handful of their own listings. They should only be able to edit their own listings!
Plugin 2 (payment plugin)
Paypal integration for multiple users (realtors & property owners) to pay to list on the site. Plugin 1 should allow the site OWNER to add/delete authors as they see fit. Plugin 2 automates it and allows for payment for listing (listings will run based on the amount of time people pay for them to be run, will be featured for extra cost..etc) Payment integration must be SECURE.
Again, the idea is to turn wordpress into a rental site for real estate landlords, real estate agents and property owners. I
will eventually allow other people to purchase/download the theme and the plugin with support.
The THEME will be a custom layout which is better suited for rental display. (different from typical blog layout)
But DON’T want you to just use a bunch of other people’s plugins to create desired effect. I want coded plugins (and
theme) just for my project - so I can distribute to others.
Final mockups in PSD will be provided.
