Bypassing Exe License.dat 05.09.08
I purchased a license for program L2Extend64.exe few months ago.
L2Server.exe is encoded with a license.dat. Which I think only allows one ip per license. You can see for yourself.
Seller website is no longer available.
Seller e-mail no longer contactable.
Problem:
As of 8/27/08 began getting error
“Connect to license server #1 failed”
Followed by the the program closing.
What the program does: Modifies existing L2sServer.exe file from protocol(version) 656 to 746 and adds features on .dll (explained in seller’s readme.txt)
Request:
Remove license verification from program so that it may continue to be used on other servers and different ips.
“LICENSING:
After installation, L2Extend64 license is issued and bound
to your IP address. The license will become invalid if you
change your IP address, in this case, additional charge is
required for license upgrading.”
*This is for a 64 bit operating system.
