Need a problem fixed on our linux web server

We have a dedicated linux server (Centos enterprise 5) running cpanel / whm.
We recently began receiving the following warning message:

This is cPanel stats runner on host.xxxxxxxxxx.com!
While processing the log files for user xxxxx, the cpu has been maxed out for more than a 6 hour period. The current load/uptime line on the server at the time of this email is
09:37:08 up 73 days, 23:20, 0 users, load average: 5.64, 5.65, 5.63
You should check the server to see why the load is so high and take steps to lower the load. If you want stats to continue to run even with a high load; Edit /var/cpanel/cpanel.config and change extracpus to a number larger then 0 (run /usr/local/cpanel/startup afterwards to pickup the changes).

We have setup and run the server ourselves up until now, but are now looking for someone with advanced linux server experience to assist with this situation.
=> Requirements
Due to the nature of this task we will require someone with experience with linux servers.
We will also require at least 3 security references that we can contact directly to verify your credentials.
