Email #2
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for contacting Hosting Support.
Please note that the issue was related to the recent upgrade not having support for the HighPoint 1520 RAID card. We have rebooted the server into the next most recent kernel at this time with the correct drives and the server booted successfully as well as remote access being restored. You will need to recompile the kernel with support for the RAID card in question or edit the grub.conf file to boot the into the kernel with the RAID card support as the next reboot will make the server inaccessible again.
Please contact us if you have any further issues.
Best regards,
John S.S.

Basically I did what godaddy required it broke my setup and now they say it’s my problem that I have to fix it. I am sure this is easy for someone familiar with raid but I have 40 websites on this server and would like someone experienced to tackle this. Godaddy says it’s basic server administration.
