I would like to see this project develop into a long-term relationship for our IT maintenance. We are looking for someone that can keep things confidential and that we can trust!
Setup Overview
File Storage: 2TB
Servers: 2 (Windows Domain), 2 (linux VM)
Workstations: 7
All systems are running Windows XP and have gigabit NIC
We have a 20Mbps+ (up/down) internet connection which will (hopefully) make remote collaboration faster.

For this specific project I am looking for someone that can do the following:
- Do some general maintenance on our Windows Servers (check security, make sure everything is running as it should, check our domain setup).
- Setup a backup schedule/system
Right now we have a redundant setup. I want to make sure it is setup properly/efficiently. I would like to have notifications on the status of the file system, logs, etc.
- Performance Optimization (file transfer/bandwidth).
We work with video and thousands of images and need to have our performance optimized. This could be as simple as telling us what we need (within our budget), or setting up load balancing, etc.

Not for this PROJECT, but in the LONG-TERM we are looking for someone to handle the following:
- Windows server maintenance
- Linux server maintenance (not required)
- Security maintenance
- File backup/redundancy
- General consulting/recommendations
I have been handling most of this by myself and do not have time to properly maintain our system and make sure everything is secure/backed up.
