Css Layout Required 04.07.08
I need a css layout for a webpage creating.
Just positioned containers or boxes, that I can edit later.
Need the whole lot to be centred on the page, at say 780 pixels wide.
Need a header the full 780 width
a second smaller whole width row.
Then three columns, for menu, content, etc
and a footer box, the 780 width.
Will try and attach a simple image example.
BUT what I need to happen is for the background colour, or backing image, AND any border on all three column boxes/divs to continue on down to the lowest point of the three, as forced by the container with the most content.
I want all three column containers to cover the full height at this part of the page, not stop when their own content finishes. Not a fixed pixel height, as the content can be of different volumes from page to page.
Needs to be a clean, neat and tidy CSS file. That I can adapt as required.
If the containers positioning can be floating or relative, or whatever it is, rather than pixel fixed, this would be preferable, so any header containers height can be adjusted without everything else going pear shaped.
