Web Based Check In 08.10.08
I need a web based check in system. In short, when a customer comes to my business, I need to be able to do the following:
-Login to my web site
-Fill out a form (I can give a sketch of what it should look like)
-Click submit and print out two copies while at the same time sending me an email, and generating a work ticket in the database.
-I should then be able to change the status of the ticket, and change the notes on the ticket.
This seems to me to be fairly simple, but it is over my head. I’m currently using wordpress for my site, but if a page was designed for this and this alone, that is also acceptable.
A very rough sketch of what the form needs to look like when printed is attached. The black box is simply blocking out contact information - it would in actuality be a phone number and address.
